Job Title: Account Manager / Business Development (Skills/Apprenticeships)

Location: Remote/Field – Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £35,000

Type: 2-year Fixed Term Contract

KM are pleased to be recruiting for a Relationship/Account Manager, who will focus on establishing, maintaining, and developing a network of relationships, to increase access and participation for Apprenticeship and skills-based qualifications.

The Role:

• Proactively identify and engage with businesses, local authorities, stakeholders, and other external organisations, to create a network of solutions and support, to match the skills demand of businesses and employees in the region.
• Maintain presence within the sector and collaborate to widen opportunities for the uptake of Apprenticeship, Adult Education and Skills based qualifications.
• Engage and consult with business to identify skills and talent requirements.
• Create packages of skills support for businesses
• Maintain/ report on data and activity on a regular basis.
• Maintaining own knowledge of policy changes, funding changes and relevant business expectations.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience of working within a similar Account / Relationship Manager / B2B role, within the skills sector.
• Must have an excellent understanding of Skills Funding (Apprenticeship/AEB).
• Knowledge of the wider skills agenda
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.

• Excellent communication skills – presentation, written and verbal.
• Networking skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
