Job Title: Apprenticeship Compliance Manager (WBL / Apprenticeships)

Location: Home/Remote based – Must be flexible with travel to Leeds

Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 (Dependent upon experience)

Duties:

• This is a management level role, with responsibilities covering operations, funding, compliance and financial planning.
• Working closely with the Quality Manager to manage, review, improve and implement quality processes, for the delivery of Apprenticeships, ensuring excellent quality is maintained throughout the business.
• Support senior management with business development and engagement and contract management.
• Take the lead in the review and updating of operational policies and procedures
• You will take an active role, through your duties in operations and continuous improvement, in supporting the business to reach its goal of being an Ofsted grade Outstanding provider.
• Performance manage, develop, observe, motivate and support a team of Assessors and Admin staff.
• Allocation of learner caseloads
• Support implementation, development and review of the companies Self-Assessment process and work together with the Quality Manager to develop QIP and the quality cycle.
• Creation and submission of Self-Assessment Reports (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plans (QIP).
• Leading the annual SA review, which includes the creation and presentation of an annual SA report/QIP
• Ensure ESFA compliance is maintained and work together to maintain Ofsted and ESFA audit readiness in addition to matrix accreditation
• Maintain awareness of ESFA funding guidance in order to maintain funding compliance and carry out learner funding audits
• Monitor review and analyse data reports
• Develop, manage and maintain systems such as eportfolio and pics amongst other business management systems

Essential Criteria:

• Ideally hold a level 4 teaching qualification
• Ideally hold a management or recognised Internal Verifier qualification: D34, V1, TAQA L4.
• Proven experience and knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement within a training and education role
• Knowledge of the common inspection framework and bench marking systems
• Proven influential skills with experience of creating improvements in assessment, teaching and learning.
• Ability to develop and operate quality improvement procedures.
• Proven experience of working within a quality role at a senior level.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and presentation skills
• Experience of using reports and working with complex data.

Desirable Criteria:

• Hold occupational competency within the Financial Services Industry
• hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
