Job Title: Childcare Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: West Midlands – Home/Field based

Salary to start: 
£25,000 for unqualified
£26,000 for qualified (with a banding up to £28,000 – DOE and performance)
 + Bonus and Benefits (Depending on qualifications and experience)

KM have an exciting Childcare Assessor opportunity based with a ‘GOOD’ rated Training Provider!

The successful candidates must hold a minimum of a level 3 in Childcare, and have a passion for training and development demonstrable within their experience, along with the willingness to complete an Assessors award (fully funded by the provider) if this is not already held.

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold own Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare as a minimum.
• Must hold a  minimum of 5 years solid occupational competency within early years childcare.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.

 Duties include:

• Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years Childcare at Level 3
• Manage a caseload of learners, conduct remote and face to face observations to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeships.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and completions.
• Support learners through the End Point Assessment Process.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, reviews, learner progression, quality paperwork and general administration.
