Job Title: Clinical Care / Health and Social Care Assessor

Location: Hertfordshire & surrounding areas – Home based remote online assessments due to Covid restrictions (Candidates must be flexible with travel when face-to-face visits are required)

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Our client is seeking an experienced practitioner within Clinical Healthcare to deliver full qualifications in Health & Social Care and Clinical Healthcare. Experience of working within an elderly Health and Social Care environment is not essential, as our client will bring the successful applicant up to speed with CPD.

Essential Criteria:

• Hold solid occupational experience of working within Clinical Healthcare, as a Registered Nurse or Practitioner.
• Be a RGN with a current Pin or a level 5 Clinical qualification.
• If you are an unqualified Assessor, you must hold an active nursing PIN and be a practicing nurse.
• Ideally have experience of providing care to elderly service users within a clinical setting.
• Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel and visiting learners outside of the normal 9-5 working hours.

Duties:

• Assess and support learners through full Diplomas and Apprenticeship standards in Clinical Healthcare (Adult Nursing and Theatre pathways), Health & Social Care up to Level 5, and SBWA L1 and 2 qualifications.
• Provide additional support for the delivery of Functional Skills (Maths / English / ICT) up to level 2.
• As part of the delivery, you will conduct 1-1 and group workshops, both face to face and online.
• Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their qualification.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners, through to end point assessment.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
