Electronics Assessor / Trainer Permanent

Job Title: Electronics Assessor / Trainer

Location: Wiltshire

Salary: £35,000

Type: Full Time, 12-month FTC with potential for a permanent role 

Criteria (for all candidates):

• Ideally hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA – or willingness to work towards within 3 months (fully funded and supported)
• Ideally hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS / AET or above/equivalent.
• Ideally have experience of assessing Engineering Diplomas/BTECs Level 2 or 3 (Electronic pathways) – or supporting apprentices within the workplace / on the job training.
• Must hold solid, occupational competency within an Electrical / Electronic environment – ideally within the military / ex-military.
• Hold a relevant NVQ or BTEC in Electronics/Electrical at Level 3 or above.
• Must be flexible with travel.

Duties:

• Assess and mentor learners working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Electronic.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Personal Skills:

• Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focused.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
