Job Title: Employer Engagement Consultant – Traineeships

Location: Home/remote based – the role is all online/telephone based

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000

Type: Full time – Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• Proven employer engagement activities to secure traineeship (or similar) work placements for learners.
• Have experience of working with referral agencies such as the jobcentre for learner referrals.
• Experience of providing information, advice and guidance for learners to make informed decisions about their future aspirations.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Experience of working towards and achieving targets.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Duties Include:

• Engage with employers, networks and referral agencies to promote our clients Traineeship offering, and secure work placement opportunities for learners on programme.
• Carry out learner engagement activities, liaising with referral agencies such as the Job Centre, to attract and recruit learners to various Traineeship programmes nationally.
• Ensure candidate suitability and eligibility for the programme through initial screening and interviews, carrying out a full diagnostic assessment.
• Identify any barriers to employment / learning and provide support and direction for learners to overcome these barriers and achieve their goals.
• Support and mentor learners throughout their programme, providing IAG and addressing additional needs.
• Ensure learners are working in a safe environment – completing all relevant paperwork such as Health & Safety documentation
• Completing company documentation ensuring that all documents meet compliance standards.
