Job Title: Employment Advisor/Coach
Location: Warwickshire – Must be flexible with travel
Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 (Depending on experience) + benefits
Type: Full Time, Permanent
An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and engaging individual who is looking to support the wider community and lower unemployment rates.
The Role:
- Managing a caseload of individuals from induction through to achieving a sustainable progression
- Proactively engage with local employers and referral agencies to source work placement/employment opportunities and market individuals from your caseload.
- Network, perform outreach activities and work with referral agencies to secure referrals for the programme
- Achieve sustainable employment, through regular 1:1’s, group work guidance and ongoing support.
- Engage, motivate and identify any barriers to gaining work.
- Carry out assessments to identify needs and aspirations of individuals on your caseload
- Create tailored action plans for each member of your caseload, ensuring timely and positive outcomes.
- Work towards and achieve targets and KPI’s for job starts / placements.
- Completing all necessary paperwork in line with compliance and quality standards.
Essential Criteria:
- Must hold a strong knowledge of local young people networks.
- Persistent attitude, with the confidence to undertake cold calling and ability to overcome objections.
- Must hold solid, occupational experience within recruitment and/or sales.
- Must have experience of working in a target driven role.
- IT literate.
