Job Title: Food and Drink Assessor / Trainer

Location:  Home based / Remote delivery

Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + more

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria;

• Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
• Hold a Food and Drink related qualification at level 3 as a minimum.
• Minimum 3 years occupational experience working within Food Production.
• Experience of Assessing Food and Drink Apprenticeships at Level 3
• Must be IT Literate and confident with online MS Teams delivery.
• Excellent communication skills
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Duties:

• Assess and support learners working towards Food and Drink Apprenticeships at Level 3.
• Delivering online learning via MS Teams to gather evidence.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Work to learner review and completion time-scales.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely reviews, paperwork, EPA and general administration.
