Health and Social Care Trainer / Assessor – Level 3 or 5 Permanent NEW

Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor – Level 3 or 5

Location: London – Home/Field based

Candidates must be flexible with travel when face-to-face visits are required

Salary:  £28,000 – £30,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Essential Criteria:

• Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) or a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET
• Ideally have experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care / Adult Care at Level 3 or 5.
• Hold a level 3 in Health and Social Care as a minimum (or above).
• Hold solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care at Deputy Manager level or above.
• Confident to deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English.
• Must have a good level of ICT skills.
• Must be flexible with travel and also remote home working.

Duties include:

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5 (Lead Adult Care Worker). 
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork and general administration.

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
