Job Title: Health and Wellbeing Adviser/Coach 

Location: Centre based, delivering within Chester and Ellesmere Port

Salary: £26,000 – £29,500 (pro rata) – depending on experience

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage + Much More!

Type: Part-Time, Permanent (22.5 hours per week)

Duties:

• Devise and maintain individual action plans and goals for each member, assessing the progress of your caseload
• Work closely with jobseekers to identify any health and wellbeing barriers that may be impacting their ability to find and maintain employment.
• Deliver tailored programmes to support participants with managing their health (e.g. Anxiety; Stress Management; Pain Management etc.)
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Employability Team and External Stakeholders (e.g. Healthcare providers) and signpost your caseload if needed.
• Provide training to the Employability team surrounding awareness of healthcare barriers.
• Maintain accurate records regarding participants progress.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have experience of working within a similar role within Health Promotion/Public Health.
• Must have experience of supporting individuals with health/wellbeing issues, through return-to-work support / vocational rehabilitation / occupational health.
• Must have experience of delivering health and/or wellbeing related interventions on a group basis via a blended approach (face-to-face and online).
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of a healthy lifestyle and their benefits.
• Ability to communicate at all levels, tailoring sessions to meet the learner’s needs.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.
