Job Title: Motor Vehicle Trainer Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location:  Wiltshire – Home/Field based – Candidates must be flexible with travel across Wiltshire and surrounding areas.

Salary: £36,400

Type: x3 opportunities available 

• x1 Full Time, Permanent 
• x2 Full Time, FTC (52 weeks) – potential to become permanent

Essential Criteria (for all candidates):

• Must hold solid, occupational competency as Vehicle Mechanic.
• Must hold a recognised qualification in Vehicle Mechanics at Level 3 or above.
• Must hold own Maths and English qualifications at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.

• An understanding of Apprenticeship programmes is highly desirable.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.

Duties:

• Assess and mentor learners working towards Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Standards to Level 3.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Personal Skills:

• Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focused.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
