Job Title: Product Development Manager (Learner Management Software)

Location: Remote (Must be flexible with travel, as and when required)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Depending on experience, plus Bonus

Type: Full Time, Permanent

KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a dynamic Software provider, who are looking to appoint a Development Manager.

The successful candidate will assist in the growth and development of our client’s Apprenticeship software packages (learner management, ILP’s, data analysis, and learning management solutions), with an opportunity to expand to other products within their portfolio.

Duties:

• Deliver product demonstrations to potential customers, within the further education sector.
• Working closely with the software development team to deliver solutions in a timely manner.
• Design and develop product requirement documentation, for the relevant software products (following appropriate research into customer requirements).
• Manage the software testing process / quality control.
• Support the overall sales process, including marketing activities, and ensure the smooth onboarding of new clients.
• Account management responsibilities – keep in regular contact with our existing clients.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have the knowledge and experience of using relevant software systems, within the work-based learning / further education sector.
• Understanding of current software needs, specifically within the Apprenticeship sector.
• Experience in project management, solving problems and designing solutions.
• Experience in business development / sales is highly desirable, ideally within software solutions.
• Excellent communication skills – presentation, written and verbal.
• We are seeking a candidate, who is keen to bring their own ideas and research to the table
• Car owner / driver, and flexible with travel, as and when required.
