Job Title: Multi Skilled Construction Tutor 

Location: Must be flexible with travel to education sites across Hertfordshire, Essex and Suffolk

Salary: up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience) + Car Allowance

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more

Type: Full Time, Permanent 

Duties:

• Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Construction, within a classroom-based environment. 
• Support learners working towards Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.

Criteria:

• Experience of delivering vocational based training.
• Must hold a recognised qualification within a Construction trade.
• Must hold solid, occupational experience within Multi-Skilled Construction (e.g. Plastering, Paint, Brickwork).
• Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.
