Job Title: Business Tutor (Part Time)

Location: Centre based

Salary: up to £40,000 PRO RATA to 15 hours (Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Part time role for 15 hours per week. (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12-5pm)

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a teaching qualification – level 4 or above
• Experience of delivering vocational training – and ideally experience of teaching or assessing Business Enterprise or similar.
• Hold a Business-related qualification or similar
• Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to small groups of learners.
• Must be IT Literate.

Duties include:

• Deliver the SFEDI Business Course to small groups of learners who are looking to develop their Business/Self Employment skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
