Job Title: Hospitality Apprenticeship Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Teaching/Training qualification(s)

Location: Home and Field based covering the East Midlands

Salary: £29,100 – £31,200 – salary dependent on qualifications

Full training and support will be given to unqualified Assessor candidates.

Essential Criteria:

Must have both Front and Back of House occupational competency as follows;

• Must have experience of working as a Chef, up to Kitchen Lead / Chef de Partie level. Must also be able to demonstrate experience of cooking meals from scratch (Gastro)
• Must also have experience of working as an Assistant Manager / Supervisor within a Pub or Restaurant setting.
• Highly desirable; Hotel operations experience – reception front of house, housekeeping etc
• Experience of delivering staff training is highly desirable. 

• Ideally hold own NVQ in Hospitality or Cooking related qualification
• Must be confident to support learners Maths and English Functional Skills.
• Full driving licence and use of own vehicle, must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

• Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality (Front and Back of House specialisms).  
• Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/face-to-face delivery).
• Delivering Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
