Job Title: HGV Assessor Trainer
 
Location: Essex

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (Some flexibility with salary for the right candidate) + Benefits

Type: Full Time, Permanent
 
Essential Criteria:

• Must be a qualified Assessor holding any of the following awards; D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
• Ideally have experience of delivering DGV or HGV (for Heavy Goods Vehicles) at Level 2.
• Ideally also assessed Team Leading L3 and Warehouse & Storage qualifications OR have strong occupational competency of working within these settings.
• Experience of delivering Functional Skills English and Maths to level 2.
• Must be IT Literate and confident with online MS Teams delivery.
• Flexible with meeting learners needs in terms of work patterns – may include evenings and early hours assessments.
• Driver with own vehicle.

Duties include:

• Plan and deliver face to face and remote online training sessions and workshops to learners working towards Apprenticeships in Driving Goods Vehicles specifically for Heavy Goods at Level 2, along with the following if occupationally competent; Warehouse and Storage Level 2 and Team Leading Level 3 qualifications.
• Deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English as required.
• Identify and assess the needs of learners, overcome any barriers to learning and adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs.
• Support and assess learners Online using Microsoft Teams.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
