Job Title: Employer Engagement Consultant – Apprenticeships

Location: Nottinghamshire – Home/Field based

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 + Performance related bonus

The Role:

• Engage with employers with a view to signing their staff onto a range of short courses via our client’s Skills Support for Workforce provision. 
• Generate own leads via cold / warm calls, field sales and networking.
• Secure repeat business with employers and progression for learners onto ideally an Apprenticeship  programme
• Attend meetings with decision makers to discuss their training needs for existing staff.
• Keep up to date with competitor`s strengths and weaknesses, evaluating the market and scoping out new opportunities.
• Work with management to meet the business target growth plan for the area.
• Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis and meet month end sales deadlines.
• Cross sell other products, seizing all opportunities to offer clients a well-rounded service.
• Ensure employer environments comply with Health and Safety requirements.
• Work to monthly targets based on learner recruitment (workforce development).

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of working within a Business to Business sales / employer engagement role within the training sector.
• Ability to engage with employers and create long standing relationships
• Proven experience of negotiating / winning / closing new business – telephone and face to face.
• Experience of working towards and achieving targets.
• Excellent communication skills – presentation, written and verbal.
• Exceptional sales, marketing and networking skills.
• Time management and organisational skills.
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.
