Job Title: Project Management / Leadership & Management Assessor Trainer

Location: Ideally based in South / West Wales (Home/Field based – Candidates must be flexible with travel)

Salary: up to £30,500 (dependent on qualifications and experience) + Benefits and expenses

Type: Full Time / Permanent 

Essentials Criteria:

• Hold or willing to work towards an Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
• Must hold solid occupational competency in Project Management – min 3 years proven experience of managing projects.
• Ideally hold Project Management related qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or similar Project Management qualification
• Hold Management qualification at Level 5 / or equivalent management competency.
• Ideally have experience of Assessing Project Management AND/OR Management level 5 Apprenticeships
• Must be confident with Maths, English and IT skills
• Excellent communication skills (Welsh speaker desirable)

Duties:

• Train, assess and deliver Apprenticeship in Project Management Level 3 and 4 and Leadership & Management Levels 4 and 5.
• Support learners to achieve the Essential Skills in Digital Literacy and Numeracy.
• Lead informal discussions and exploration of latest trends and sharing experiences.
• Manage a caseload of learners supporting them online and in person throughout their Apprenticeship, through to end-point assessment.
• Plan and deliver effective training and assessment based on individual learner needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales.
