Job Title: Plumbing and Heating Lecturer
Location: Carlisle
Hourly rate: £18.12 p/h + Holiday Pay
Type: Temporary Contract

Essential Criteria:
Experience of delivering full qualifications in Plumbing and Heating up to Level 2.
Must hold a recognised teaching qualification: CertEd, PGCE, DTLLS (or equivalent)
Must hold QTS.
Must hold solid occupational competency as a Plumbing / Heating Engineer.
Must be IT Literate.
Ability to send through all I.D, Rights to Work and proof of Qualifications
Duties include:
Teach/assess learners working across Plumbing and Heating related programmes up to Level 2.
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
Undertake internal verification and provide suitable information for both moderation and re-validation purposes as required.
Provide advice and guidance relating to work-based projects and personal development.
Actively contribute to the advice, guidance and assessment of upcoming learners through participating in student interviews and open days.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Personal Skills:
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
