Job Title: Adult Care Practitioner Assessor

Location: Midlands – Home/remote and field based

Salary: Circa £26,000 – £30,000 + Bonus OTE of between £32,000 – £36,000                   
(Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Duties:

  • Assess and support learners through the Adult Care Practitioner Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills – Maths and English to level 2.
  • Visiting/observing learners in their place of work and conduct online video learning sessions to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications – learners are based in a variety of settings to include; Hospitals, Care Homes, Domiciliary care etc.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews face to face and online are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
  • Experience of Assessing Adult Care Practitioner or Health and Social Care Apprenticeships at level 4.
  • Must have experience of New Apprenticeship Standards and the EPA process.
  • Must hold solid occupational competency / hands on experience within Adult Care; Care Homes, Dom Care, Day Centre’s, or Clinical setting.
  • Demonstrate Clinical competencies to include checking blood pressure and weight management.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence.
