Apprenticeship Delivery Manager – Health and Social Care Full Time Permanent

• Performance manage, develop, observe and motivate a Health and Social Care delivery team, consisting of Assessors, Tutors and IQA’s, to ensure the delivery of high quality teaching and learning.
• Hold regular 1-1 meetings to support and develop your team.
• Ensure the timely and effective delivery of apprentice training programmes, ensuring timely outcomes and success rates for learners in your sector, in-line with contractual targets and objectives.
• Manage own reduced caseload of learners.
• Ensure all delivery staff have a clear objective and meet performance based targets (e.g. recruitment, retention and achievement targets) addressing any underperformance.
• Take the lead in developing new Apprenticeship standard delivery plans across Health and Social Care, and work closely with the Curriculum Delivery Manager with developing the courses.
• Responsible for Quality Assurance/IQA processes which encompass; SAR, QIP, EQA and observations.

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
• Must hold a recognised IQA award: V1/D34 etc.
• Hold either a Degree in the relevant vocational area or a management qualification at level 5 or above
• Proven experience of working in a similar Apprenticeship Delivery Manager role.
• Excellent people management and performance management skills.
• Proven experience of managing a team towards the achievement of set targets.
• Must be flexible with travel
