Construction / Dry Lining Tutor Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) Permanent

Job Title: Construction / Dry Lining Tutor Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) 

Location: Rugby – Centre based

Salary: up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more

Type: Full Time, Permanent 

Duties:

• To deliver Construction / Dry Lining training to learners, leading them to acquire a CSCS card.
• Support learners with Functional Skills, Digital Skills, and Personal Development.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.

Criteria:

• Must hold a minimum of 2 years’ experience within Dry Lining / Construction trades.
• Must hold own Level 3 qualification within Dry Lining and/or Brickwork.
• Ideally hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (not essential as training is provided)
• Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
• Experience of providing on-the-job training within the workplace to Apprentices/colleagues. 
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
