Job Title: Construction Tutor (Multi Skilled)

Location: Centre based in Essex

Salary: £22,000 – £30,000 DOE (some flexibility for the right candidate) + Benefits

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Duties:

• As a Multi Skilled Construction Tutor, you will be responsible for supporting training delivery across 3 workshop settings to include; Painting and Decorating, Plumbing/Carpentry/Electrical and Cleaning.
• Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own delivery when required.
• Deliver engaging workshop training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
• The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
• The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety. 

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification e.g. PTLLS / AET or above.
• Hold a Maths and English level 2 / equivalent
• Experience of delivering across Painting and Decorating, Plumbing/Carpentry/Electrical as a minimum. Cleaning training can be provided.
• Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients.
• Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
