Job Title: Curriculum Specialist – Healthcare Cleaning

Location: Home Based (candidates must be flexible with travel as and when required)
 
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

Type: Full Time, Permanent
 
This exciting new role will see the successful candidate leading on the curriculum design and development for the Healthcare Cleaning Operative Standard, and also assessing and supporting a caseload of learners as the business develops.

Duties:

• Create an engaging 12 month programme, that inspires, motivates and challenges learners to develop their knowledge, and successfully achieve their qualification.
• Develop a flexible learning programme that accommodates group and 1-1 delivery, via face to face and utilising digital platforms
• Create bespoke learning plans for each learner to stretch and challenge their ongoing development.
• Conduct regular assessments via workplace observations to gather evidence and hold professional discussions.
• Deliver monthly, knowledge based learning modules in line with IFATE assessment guidelines.
• Embed Functional Skills English and Maths into the curriculum, ensuring upskilling in both areas.
• Prepare the learner for their end point assessment, conducting mock assessments to ensure readiness.

Essential Criteria:

• Hold at least 5 years’ experience of working in the Healthcare Cleaning sector
• Have experience of delivering formal training around cleaning practices and regulations
• Must have experience of developing and writing curriculum / learning content
• COSHH and RIDDOR trained
• Hold own GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths at Level 2
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Candidates must be flexible with shift work to meet the needs of learners
