Location:  Remote / Online with potential travel as required if learners require extra support

Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience) + Benefits

KM are delighted to be recruiting for a number of Remote/Online Residential Childcare Assessor vacancies for the CYPF (Children, Young People Manager within a Residential setting) Apprenticeship Standard.
We have a combination of Level 3 and 4 delivery, and Level 4 and 5 Assessor roles available depending on candidate occupational competency.
Duties include:

• Assess and support a caseload of remote learners working towards Apprenticeship Standards up to Level 5 in Children, Young Peoples Manager within a Residential setting.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Support learners to achieve Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
• Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Recognised Assessor Award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
• Must have occupational competency within a Residential Childcare setting (for Level 5 delivery this needs to be at Senior, Team Leader or Management capacity)
• Have experience of Assessing Apprenticeship Standards within Children and Young People – candidates can be up-skilled to deliver Residential Childcare as long as they hold relevant occupational competency.
• Must be comfortable with and have experience of Online 1-1 and group based training delivery.
