Job Title: Dental Nursing Tutor Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: West Midlands / Staffordshire

Salary: up to £27,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

KM have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assessor of Dental Healthcare – or a Dental Nurse who would like to transition in to a new and rewarding career within the training industry to support Apprentices!

Essential Criteria:

• Ideally hold a recognised Assessor award (not essential, as our client will put the successful candidate through the Assessor qualification!) 
• Must hold a Dental Healthcare qualification at Level 3 or above, and be registered with the GDC.
• Hold occupational competency in Dental Healthcare.
• Confident with classroom / small group-based delivery
• Confident to support learners with Maths and English Functional Skills (as required).
• Must have a good level of ICT skills
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel. 

Duties include:

• Assess and support learners working towards the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing – both in the workplace and classroom-based setting
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
