Job Title: Employability and Security Tutor
Location: South Yorkshire – Must be flexible with travel
Salary: £27,500 – £30,000
Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + Much More!
Type: Full-time, 12-month contract
Duties:
- Deliver classroom based Employability and Security training (Door Supervisor Level 2) to a caseload of learners on a group basis.
- Support learners with their job search and employability requirements.
- Develop own learning materials and assessment plans.
- Coach and train learners through programme from enrolment/induction through to completion.
- Assist clients with CV writing, job search, interview techniques, confidence building and deliver advice and guidance to enable clients to secure employment opportunities.
- Provide differentiation, flexible delivery methods, and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
- Provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their set goal / target.
- Working towards and achieving set targets / KPIs.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, Award in Education and Training, or above).
- Hold or be willing to work towards a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Security or above.
- Must be occupationally competent to deliver Security training such as Door Supervisor to level 2.
- Candidates must have experience of delivering Employability training in a group setting as a minimum and ideally Security/Door Supervisor training
- Enthusiastic individual who is able to make a real impact and make learning exciting.
- Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
