Salary: £22,500 – £25,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and engaging individual who is looking to support the wider community and lower unemployment rates.

The successful candidate will have prior experience of working within any of the following customer facing sectors; Employability/DWP, Hospitality, Health & Social Care Sales or Customer Service – and have proven demonstrable experience of working with individuals who have moderate to severe disabilities/mental health issues and the ability to coach, mentor and motivate individuals. See duties below;

The Role:

• Work closely with jobseekers on a 1:1 basis to identify any barriers that may be impacting their ability to find and maintain employment; focusing on health, disability and mental health.
• Deliver engaging and motivating Employability Training sessions to inspire and motivate learners, on both a 1:1 and group basis.
• Support participants with CV writing and the job application process.
• Proactively engage with local employers to source employment opportunities for your caseload.
• Promote our clients’ services within the local community.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have experience of working within a performance target driven environment.
• Must have experience of working in a customer facing role
• Must have the ability to showcase coaching; mentoring; persuasion and influencing skills through prior employment/social activities.
• Hands-on experience of working closely with individuals who have disabilities and/or mental health issues.
• Hold GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification such as Functional Skills English level 2).
• Must be flexible with travel.
