Traineeship Manager Full Time Permanent

Job Title:  Traineeship Manager

Salary: £35,000

Location: London / South East – including travel/delivery at employer sites

Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:

• Lead, grow and rollout our clients new Traineeship programme including direct delivery of the Traineeship Programme..
• Commence direct delivery of the Traineeship qualification, delivering Functional Skills (Maths and English), Employability and a Hospitality vocational pathway as part of the Traineeship. (Groups of approx 15 learners)
• Work with Employers, DWP Jobcentres, Youth Service Groups and other referral agencies to ensure the programme is successful.
• Work closely with internal learner referral team to ensure a steady pipeline and targets are being achieved.
• Provide IAG and support as part of the enrolment and induction process.
• Ensure a robust referral system is in place to achieve learner start targets.
• Track performance, achievement, progression, and job outcome rates.
• Monitoring quality assurance and compliance. 
• Ensure programmes and contracts are operating efficiently and achieve financial targets.
• Implement and agree strategies to identify quality job vacancies, traineeship/ apprenticeship, and work placement opportunities to meet targets. 

Essential:

• Hold a minimum of a level 3 teaching qualification OR Assessor Award (PTLLS / AET  OR TAQA/CAVA/A1)
• Proven track record of managing the set up and roll out of a Traineeship provision.
• Knowledge and experience of Ofsted and traineeship funding rules.
• Knowledge of the Hospitality sector either qualification knowledge or occupational competency.
• Must have experience delivering Traineeship programmes directly to learners.
• Must have experience of delivering Functional Skills – Maths and English
• Ideally have experience of building and generating learner referral networks with DWP and youth organisations.
• Experience of leading on the delivery of traineeships, managing performance, achievement, progression, and job outcome rates.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively
• Full clean driving licence and flexible with travel
