Job Title: Learner Recruitment Consultant / IAG

Location: Leeds

Salary: £18,000 – £22,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Type: Full-time, Contract (6-9 months)

Duties Include:
Carry out learner engagement activities, liaising with referral agencies to recruit learners onto various training programmes.
Ensure candidate suitability and eligibility for the programme through initial screening and interviews, carrying out a full diagnostic assessment.
Identify any barriers to employment / learning, and provide support and direction for learners to overcome these barriers and achieve their goals.
Support and mentor learners throughout their programme, providing IAG and addressing additional needs.
Engage with local employers, networks and referral agencies to promote, advertise and source work placement and progression opportunities for a case-load of learners.
Maintain relationships with local employers to secure further opportunities for learners.
Source, set up and manage work placements for customers.
Generate a robust learner / vacancy referral system to meet targets.
Ensure learners are working in a safe environment – completing all relevant paperwork such as Health & Safety documentation
Completing company documentation ensuring that all documents meet compliance standards.
Essential Criteria:
Must have experience of carrying out employer engagement / recruitment activities to secure work placements for learners.
Experience of providing information, advice and guidance for candidates to make informed decisions about their future aspirations.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Understanding and knowledge of the work based learning industry.
Experience of working towards and achieving targets.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Full clean driving licence and use of own vehicle
