Job Title: Business Manager (Education / Schools)

Location: Liverpool – Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £38,600 – £43,600 Including Car Allowance, and depending on skills and experience

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + much more

Type: Full Time / Permanent

This is a key role for our client, and as such requires a candidate with proven success of operational management within the Education / schools sector.

The Role:

• Operational management and implementation of the strategic growth plan across all school sites within the organisation.
• Responsible for financial management, budgetary responsibility for income generation, profit and loss, overseeing the securing of funding streams etc
• Strategic development of networks and partnerships, including accessing funding streams and deploying successful bids and grant submissions.
• Drive and oversee the contractual and financial performance of each school.
• Performance manage, develop, motivate, and support a team of three direct reports.
• Manage the appraisal and performance management process for your team.
• Establish quality measures and monitor quality, taking appropriate corrective action when necessary.
• Assess and manage all CPD programmes made available to staff
• Ensure all staff have a clear understanding of their measurable targets / KPI’s, and effectively performance manage them to achieve these

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience within an operational management / senior role within a school setting (ideally alternative provision).
• Experience of managing multiple sites is desirable.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.
