Job Title: Residential Childcare Tutor / Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel

Salary:

• Trainee candidates: Starting salary of £26,500 + bonus potential!

• Qualified candidates: Salary up to £32,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus potential!

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold solid, occupational experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a Residential Children’s Home.

• Experience of delivering staff training would be highly desirable.   

• Ideally be a qualified and experienced Assessor of Apprenticeships in Children & Young People Families Practitioner / Residential Childcare – though this is not essential, as our client can train you up! 

• Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

• Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

• Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
• Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English. 
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
• Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
