Job Title: Retrofit Domestic Energy Tutor Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Midlands

Salary: up to £27,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Essential Criteria:

• Ideally hold a recognised Assessor award (not essential, as our client will put the successful candidate through the Assessor qualification!) 
• Hold occupational competency within Retrofit or Domestic Energy Assessment.
• Must hold a Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor qualification.
• Confident with classroom / small group-based delivery
• Must have a good level of ICT skills
• Confident to support learners with Maths and English Functional Skills (as required).
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel. 

Duties include:

• Assess and support learners working towards the Domestic Energy Assessor Course at Level 3.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
