Job Title: Ship / Submarine Controls Trainer

Location: Site Based

Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 (depending on role, experience and qualifications)

If you possess experience in operating submarine sonar / tactical systems OR Submarine Control Management and are a qualified and experienced Operations Warrant Officer, who holds a passion for training and development

Duties:

• Deliver engaging classroom / workshop-based training in Ship Controls or Tactical/Sonar Systems (depending on competency). 
• Coach, support and motivate learners throughout their training programme 
• Carry out all admin as required and liaise with training design team for routine reviews and amendment of training programmes offered
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Mark and assess learners work and provide feedback on performance.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Must be qualified as an Operations Warrant Officer/Senior (Royal Navy Submarine Service). 
• Experience of Submarine Control Management
• Depending on role: experience of operating submarine control systems OR experience of operating tactical/sonar systems
• Ideally have experience of providing training.
• DBS cleared/happy to undergo clearance.
